Our client is one of the world's leading suppliers of power generation and energy delivery technologies. Their services extend from the manufacturing of gas turbines, supplying turnkey power stations, through to providing long-term maintenance and customized services.
Our client is searching for their customers in Oil&Gas and Energy Industry:
Steam Turbine Field Engineers
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide technical direction and/or project management to a team of technicians and craft labor for the maintenance, commissioning and installation of steam turbine and generator equipment.
- Provide leadership in resolving of Steam / Gas Turbine or Generator technical problems by working with the internal engineering department.
- Preparation of outage reports, providing an overview of the technical findings, corrective actions and maintenance recommendations
- Provide on-site leadership on safety and quality systems
- Promote customer acceptance of Company 's products and services and how these can support our customers with their availability and reliability challenges.
- Support the business growth requirement by driving customer satisfaction through deliver of top quality service
Qualifications / Requirements:
- University degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with steam turbine internal alignment, component repair and other related maintenance services
- 5 + years of experience on Steam Turbines and Generators
- Good command of verbal and written English
- A depth of relevant experience in electric power industry - power plant or field service experience preferred
- Work efficiently without direct supervision, consistently demonstrating high levels of performance
- Flexibility to work for long periods at customer sites
- Environmental, health & safety mindset and compliance
- Excellent computer skills
Availability to travel extensively across Europe – up to 80% of working time
